You need a building that was placed into service in this year or the last three years.
In addition, you need a free consultation with us to find out what you can expect.
Deductions under §179D may only be claimed in the tax year during which the building was put into service. Nevertheless, building owners have the option to submit Form 3115 to request the IRC 179D deduction for buildings that were placed into service in previous tax years.
Additionally, designers are permitted to review the past three tax years to claim the deduction on amended tax returns.
